Housing is still one of the biggest challenges facing our communities and right now, we have a real chance to protect something that makes a huge difference.
In 2022, voters came together to pass Proposition 123 and invest in affordable housing across Colorado. That funding is already helping create and preserve homes, support workers and families, and keep communities stable. We saw it most recently in Montrose, where Community Options was able to secure financing for an affordable housing project with a loan made possible by Prop 123. But now, those funds are at risk.
Further cuts to Prop 123 would slow down housing projects, cost jobs, and make it even harder for people to afford to stay in the communities they call home. We’ve come too far to lose that progress now.
Take action today! Urge members of the Joint Budget Committee to protect Prop 123 funding and keep this promise to Colorado voters.
