Will Grand Junction be sustainable?

Will Grand Junction be sustainable?

As a member of our Alliance, you are probably interested in knowing how the city of Grand Junction is working toward a more sustainable future. You can find out what Grand Junction’s sustainability plan looks like next week, on Tuesday, February 27 from 6-7 pm at Western Colorado Alliance headquarters at 601 N. 1st Street in Grand Junction. That’s when our Alliance and the City of Grand Junction’s Sustainability Department will present the city plan. Learn about the top priorities the city has in building a more sustainable community, including how the city aims to take on important issues such as water conservation, waste management, climate resilience, energy stewardship, and the built environment.

There will be plenty of opportunity for questions, so please bring them! And we’ll have snacks and refreshments available as well. Please join us for this important presentation. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me at tyler@westerncoloradoalliance.org. We look forward to seeing you there!
