Right now, there are dueling ideas about how to protect Colorado communities from the data center boom that is sweeping the country. Our Alliance believes that any legislation governing the development of these massive facilities must protect residents from paying extra on their bills, protect our air and water, and require data centers to conform to Colorado’s climate goals.
Please use this form to write your state senator and tell them to support SB26-102, the sensible bill designed to require developers to:
- Use and develop renewable energy
- Pay for the full cost of their electricity and any grid investments they require
- Practice smart water consumption
