As you are a friend of Western Colorado Alliance, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting us, and for being a part of our programs.
The success of any program or campaign that you care about is powered by the people who show up, roll up their sleeves, and give it their full heart. Western Colorado is nothing but full of heart, as these quotes from some of our members show.

Western Colorado Alliance has been an invaluable help to our community since the shutdown of our coal mine and power plant. They have been instrumental in keeping us informed and in meetings with the Just Transition offices to build a new economy for Nucla. Thank you to WCA for their years of support to Western Colorado.

From farmers regenerating their soil health for future generations, to teachers supporting our region’s next leaders, to small business owners fighting for an economy that works for all of us — each of us contributes back to the communities where we live with our full selves.
We had heard about community-supported agriculture (CSA) projects and then the Western Colorado Alliance put on a CSA 101 class for people who were wanting to learn about it, and I attended. It answered a lot of my questions on the practicality of how it works out and we got really excited and decided to try it.

From Ouray to Nucla to Rifle, Western Colorado Alliance is celebrating big wins this year for our towns:
West Slope Youth Voice and Western Colorado Alliance offers you an opportunity to get your voice heard and feel like you are actually making an impact in the community around you. Sometimes it feels kind of hopeless…but you build bonds with the other kids in the program and also adults and political leaders. It’s a way to get involved and help the future you want to build and solidify.

We could not run these programs, build these teams, and organize with our full selves and values without your generous support of our work. We’re grateful to count you as a member of our team and hope that we can continue to earn your support as we forge toward a more resilient future for everyone who calls the Western Slope home.
