Are you a member-owner of Delta-Montrose Electric Association?

If so, you have a great opportunity to support low rates and clean, local energy!

If you are a member-owner of the Delta-Montrose Electric Association (DMEA), you need to know: Beginning today, May 3 through June 6, you will have the opportunity to make your voice heard in your local rural electric co-op elections.

DMEA has been at the forefront of innovation and is among the best co-ops in the state. By continuing to vote for good board members to represent you, you can ensure that:

  • Rates will remain low!
  • We will rely more on clean, locally produced energy.
  • And DMEA will remain an example to other co-ops in our region!

This year, Western Colorado Alliance sent a candidate questionnaire to all of the board candidates for three seats, and selected for endorsement three top-tier clean energy champions who would serve our community well. We are endorsing Steve Metheny, Ryan Sedgeley, and Kevin Williams. You can read more about them on our website.

Rural electric co-ops are considered “non-political” by law, which is why our Alliance can make these endorsements.

Please take some time to visit our DMEA election page on our website to learn more about these incredible candidates and how DMEA has made voting easier than ever!
