You are invited to Pollinators!

You are invited to Pollinators!

You are cordially invited to Pollinators, the 44th Annual Conference of Western Colorado Alliance!

Just as bees and butterflies and hummingbirds provide essential pollen to flowering plants and thereby help create healthy ecosystems, so too do our members provide their passion, focus, and hard work to create healthy, just, and self-reliant Western Colorado communities. And this year, we hope to encourage and further that process with an annual conference themed around the “pollinating” we intend to do in this very important election year.

This year, our annual conference will be held on Saturday, August 24 in the Meyer Ballroom in the University Center of Colorado Mesa University. Doors will open at 9:30 am.

As always, our Annual Conference aims to offer something for everyone. We’ll start the day with our annual business meeting which includes the election of our new board officers, ratifying our organizational platform, and an awards ceremony in recognition of our members. We’ll follow our business meeting with lunch and an inspiring keynote speaker. And we will round out the day with a series of workshops for our pollinators (you!) to learn from and take out into the community.

You can find more information and the day’s agenda on our website and we’ll have more information soon. Tickets are $40 and are available now.
