Tomorrow is Election Day and YOUR VOTE MATTERS!
Tomorrow, November 7, is Election Day! All votes must be received by 7 pm on Tuesday.
We can’t stress enough how important it is to make your voice heard this year. Western Colorado has been hit hard by a lack of affordable housing, and this problem isn’t going away by ignoring it! That’s why our Alliance is strongly backing Prop HH, which would offer reduced property taxes for homeowners, but permit the state to retain and spend revenues that it would otherwise be required to offer as TABOR refunds.

There are, of course, other important issues and candidates to be considered in this year’s ballot. We strongly urge you to ensure your voice is heard at the ballot box!
Jeriel joined the Western Colorado Alliance staff in February 2017 (back when we were still Western Colorado Congress), but you may remember her as our Canvass Director for the successful Minimum Wage ballot initiative in 2016! In her young career, Jeriel has worked with engaged citizens across Colorado on issues ranging from veterans' affairs, healthcare and women’s rights. Jeriel has called Grand Junction and the Western Slope home for 16 years, and enjoys running, hiking, biking and crafting with her daughter Emma.
