Pollinators: A very successful Annual Conference!

Pollinators: A very successful Annual Conference!

We are still feeling the thrill from Pollinators, our Alliance’s 44th Annual Conference, which was held on August 24 at Colorado Mesa University’s Meyer Ballroom. About a hundred people came together to ratify our 2025 platform, elect our new Board officers (Kevin Williams is our new Chair and Dee Wernette is our new treasurer, replacing the term-limited Andreya Krieves and Bill Wellman, respectively), celebrate some especially dedicated members, hear a moving and inspiring keynote speech from a (young!) old friend, and learn new organizing skills to support our work.

We will have much more to say about the Conference soon, but we hope, if you were there, that you were able to reconnect with old friends and colleagues and re-commit to the struggle for healthy, just, and self-reliant Western Colorado communities!

And to those who were there and those who were not — be advised that very special things are being planned for next year’s 45th Annual Conference! We hope we see you there in 2025!
