Giving thanks and taking action for our forests

Giving thanks and taking action for our forests

This is our final call for Public Comment on the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, and Gunnison (GMUG) Forest Plan!

The last chance to have your voice heard will end on this Friday, November 26. This Forest Plan will impact management decisions for some of our most treasured landscapes and last remaining wild places on the Western Slope for decades. The U.S. Forest Service needs to hear our voice so that we better protect the lands we know and love now and into the future.

If you are grateful for our public forests but unsure how to make an impact with your comment, below are resources to help you. These include a step-by-step guide to making an informed comment, and will tell you exactly where to go and what to do to comment effectively to the Forest Service.

Please note you can make as many comments as you would like!

Thank you for making a difference for our forest and future generations!
