Build Back Better — a Western Slope perspective

Build Back Better — a Western Slope perspective

It’s been in the news all year and now is the center of a Congressional stalemate. But what exactly is the Build Back Better Plan and what does it mean for Western Colorado? If you have been trying to follow along with all the goings-on in Washington D.C. and felt a bit at sea, we invite you to a conversation regarding this much talked about legislation and its impact on our lives and region.

Join us for Passing Federal Climate Action: A Western Slope Perspective, a free, online meeting, on October 14 from 6-7 pm. We’ll have participants from Western Colorado Alliance, as well as the Western Organization of Resource Councils (WORC), the Bluegreen Alliance Foundation, the Colorado Fiscal Institute, and Healthier Colorado. You’ll hear from local and regional experts about the current state of play in DC, the path forward for federal climate action, and potential impacts to the Western Slope.

We expect this will be a very lively and informative conversation about the climate impacts of this historic legislation! Please register for this event here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZItdOGrrT0qE9NAWIyWAES8xKCDEvc5dTJ0.
