Another Mountainfilm on Tour – Grand Junction for the history books!

On Sunday, November 13, Western Colorado Alliance hosted Mountainfilm on Tour – Grand Junction at the Avalon Theatre in downtown Grand Junction. The event marked the first time the event had been held in person since 2019.

We are so grateful to the hundreds of folks who showed up to enjoy the tales of “Indomitable Spirit” featured in this year’s Mountainfilm selection of short films. In addition, our Alliance brought back its annual Silent Auction which ran in conjunction with the film festival.

Mountainfilm on Tour – Grand Junction was sponsored this year by Atlasta Solar Center, KKCO 11 News, Jack-FM, and KAFM Community Radio. Other sponsors included the Avalon Theatre Foundation, Dufford Waldeck Law, Sue Nall, Andreya and Michael Krieves, Steve and Deb Allerton, Ruby Canyon Engineering, Koinonia, First Congregational United Church of Christ, Stu & Barbara Krebs, Trail Life Brewing, Little Blossom Publishing, Gear Junction, KAI, and Copeka Coffee.

Tim + Richard played an amazing set that was enjoyed by all!

We thank everyone who contributed to this year’s Mountainfilm on Tour event. We look forward to bringing the magic of Mountainfilm back to Grand Junction next year!
