Join us on April 25 from 9 am to 4 pm in Lincoln Park in Grand Junction for this year’s Southwest Arbor Fest! Help green-up Grand Junction by taking home a free tree seedling or participating in a silent auction to bring home a larger containerized tree for your yard. Arbor Day will also include an opportunity to sign up for the City’s private ash treatment cost-share program provided by SavATree, a silent auction for urban wood pieces milled from recently lost park trees, a notable tree tour, and more. There will also be free electronic waste collection from 10 am to 3 pm. Food trucks will be open from 11 am to 4 pm, and there will be craft beer tasting from noon to 4 pm. More info is available here. Our Alliance will be tabling at the Southwest Arbor Fest, so we hope to see you there!
