Come Hike with Us!

Come Hike with Us!

adobe-badlandsThis spring, WCC and its allies are teaming up to offer a series of guided hikes to showcase public lands throughout Western Colorado!

Join us to learn about our local public lands, ongoing resource planning processes, as well as the many uses and conflicts that arise within each unique area.  Hikes will be 3 to 5 miles in length and have moderate difficulty. All hikes are free to the public!

Our first hike is this Saturday, April 19th to the Adobe Badlands Wilderness Study Area, northwest of Delta. Come explore this maze of arroyos and ravines, with ancient marine fossils scattered among pinon-junipers and threatened hookless cactus. Details below!
