Renter’s rights have changed. Learn more this Saturday!

This coming Saturday, August 17, at 2:30 pm in the Clifton Public Library, our Alliance will be hosting its second of three Know Your Housing Rights events.

This week’s event will focus on housing rights for mobile home park residents, whether you rent the home or rent the land your home is on. The information will be presented by local organizations and our legal expert with the Colorado Poverty Law Center, who will be ready to answer any questions you may have.

Not a mobile home resident? That’s ok! Please help us spread the word to renters who need this information by sharing this email or sharing our Facebook post with your friends and followers.

Spanish interpretation and childcare will be provided. If you’d like more information or have any other questions, please contact me, Organizing Director Jeriel Clark-Dyar, at jeriel@westerncoloradoalliance.org. You can also reach out to the chair of our Just Housing group, Arlo Miller.

Our third Know Your Housing Rights event will be held soon on a date and at a time to be announced later. Watch your email or the Alliance’s Facebook page for information on that event.

In the meantime, we hope to see you on Saturday at 2:30. Register today!
