Two weeks left!

Two weeks left!

We have just TWO WEEKS LEFT in the 2024 Grand Valley Power (GVP) Board of Directors elections and we need your vote! The stakes are high, as big decisions are soon to be made that could change the direction of the board for years to come, like the hiring of a new CEO to set the direction of GVP and the changing of energy supplier contracts from Xcel to Guzman that will give us the chance to generate more power locally.

Election Day is August 8, and we want to remind you to cast your vote by mail as soon as possible to make sure it counts. To ensure your ballot arrives in time, we recommend you mail it on or before Friday, August 2.

If you want to cast your vote after that, you have two options! One is to take your completed ballot to the secure drop box at GVP’s main office located at 845 22 Rd., Grand Junction, 81505 during business hours before 4 pm on August 8. Your second option is to vote in-person at the GVP Annual Meeting at CMU’s Meyer Ballroom on August 8.
