SUN’s Solar Co-op returns to Mesa County!

SUN’s Solar Co-op returns to Mesa County!

Have you ever thought about putting solar panels on your roof? If you have, the opportunity you have been waiting for is here!

With the recently passed Inflation Reduction Act increasing the solar tax credit to 30%, you can save more money on going solar. We’re teaming up with nonprofit group Solar United Neighbors (SUN) to bring you the 2022 Mesa County Solar Co-opa free group to help you go solar.

The solar co-op will help Mesa County homeowners and small business owners learn about solar together and purchase solar panels at a group rate from a single installer.

Together, co-op members will learn about solar energy and leverage their numbers to get competitive pricing and quality solar installations. After a competitive bidding process facilitated by SUN, a group of volunteers from the co-op will select a solar company to complete the co-op’s installations.

Joining the Mesa County Solar Co-op does not obligate members to purchase solar or chargers. Instead, each member will have the option to individually purchase panels and electric vehicle chargers based on the installer’s group rate.
