Is a GJ Community & Recreation Center feasible?

Is a GJ Community & Recreation Center feasible?

You are invited for a first look at the results of the Grand Junction Community Center feasibility study as we present the study’s results to the Grand Junction City Council.

This meeting is open to the public, and Western Colorado Alliance of Mesa County is hoping  to have a strong showing of support from Grand Junction residents! Be the first to hear about results of the survey as well as the proposed site locations, amenities, and funding options.

And a bit of good news on the side, the volunteers in our PLACE (People for Local Activities & Community Enrichment) committee have officially filed for a campaign committee for the community center effort, and from here forward will be known as the GJ Community Center Campaign, or GJCCC. The campaign committee has formed to support and advocate for a community center on the April 2019 city election. Keep your eyes peeled for sneak peeks at the new campaign logo coming soon.

Thanks so much for your support!
