The County We Want

After organizing in Garfield County for several years, we’ve noticed some things. There are a lot of good people who want to do something meaningful, but don’t know where to direct their energy. There are a lot of people feeling isolated or fearful who may not be aware of the abundant community support that is all around them. There are a lot of people who are ready for a serious change around here. Let’s get together and be the architects of that change.

 

Join us for a fun morning of making new friends and planning a future we want to work toward. We’re looking past the distractions of reacting to each new crisis that pops up and stresses us out. We’re going to take charge and be proactive about what we want to work for. What energizes us. And you will decide what that is.

 

Listen to your favorite music on the way over. Wear comfy clothes. We’ll have coffee and snacks (good ones). It’s not “just another meeting”. It’s a bunch of neighbors who love our valleys and are ready for things to get better.
